TRIBUTE

Work is still being done at J Cross to continue the excellence that Happy Hollow's Catahoulas stands for.

Many years of dedicated breeding had occurred before I was forced by circumstance to look for an "outside" dog. By the time I met Jimmy "in person" I had owned and used four hard working Happy Hollow dogs.
There came a day that things came full circle between friends. Jimmy's dog, Hank, disappeared from a trainer's in North Mississippi to never be seen again. Our dog, Rambler, a son of Hank, was still alive and well and proven in his working ability and ability as a sire. Several years later, Jimmy's dog, Bouree, suddenly was found dead. A seemingly healthy, happy dog, then in moments, he was gone.

That is when Happy Hollow's Cash went back to Noxapater to try to fill a tremendous void. That was an inseperable pair, Jimmy and Cash.

We lost Rambler on November 17, 2007, but he left behind an amazing legacy in his pups. Two of which were owned by Jimmy.

The many years of Jimmy's dedication to the catahoula breed produced some of the finest working dogs, and on that foundation, I was able to build a solid breeding program, and to re-pay a debt of friendship.

The circle completed with returning offspring from the superb bloodlines that Jimmy had worked so hard to develop. Virtually 100% of that work is represented by three of the last dogs he owned before retiring from breeding Catahoulas, Happy Hollow's Cash, J Cross' Reno and J Cross' Vette.

J Cross Catahoulas is immeasurably honored to be a part of the continuance of an amazing bloodline.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the trust you've placed in me by allowing me to own the dogs that gave me such a solid beginning when the chips were down, my back against the wall and I had to start over.
Now my friend, the time has come, that I can return the favor.

Work is still being done at J Cross to continue the excellence that Happy Hollow's Catahoulas stands for.

Jimmy Thomas, I wish you joy, love and continued success - may God bless you immensely!
